In Future Beats, children step behind the decks and discover the exciting world of DJing and music technology. They’ll learn how to use professional-style DJ controllers, count beats, cue tracks and create smooth transitions using loops, effects and mixing techniques. Children will also choose music, plan a short set and build towards their own final DJ performance. Working independently and in pairs, they’ll develop their creativity, timing, listening skills, teamwork and confidence. No previous DJ or musical experience is needed.
