Do you only run corporate camps?
No we also run camps in schools - let us know if your child's school might be interested in hosting one of our holiday tech camps!
I work for a global company, based in Birmingham. Would Future You be able to run a camp in our offices?
Absolutely - we run camps anywhere in the UK - just let us know who to contact in your office and we'll be in touch!
We only have 200 people in our office, is that enough for camp?
Yes - we only need 15 children to run a camp so as long as there are plenty of parents working in the office with children in the right age bracket, we can offer a camp!
What ages are your camps suitable for?
Our camps are designed for children aged 8–13. Please check the individual camp page, as age ranges may vary slightly between activities.
Does my child need previous experience?
Not at all! Our camps are suitable for complete beginners as well as children who already have some experience. Activities can be adapted to suit different confidence and ability levels.
Does my child need to bring a laptop?
It depends. Some venues provide devices, but if not we can offer device rental. Some children prefer to come to camp with a device they are familiar with. We can provide all the technology and equipment needed for the camp, unless otherwise stated in your booking information.
What should my child bring?
Children should bring a packed lunch, snacks and a named water bottle. Please ensure all food follows the allergy guidance provided for your chosen venue.
Who runs the camps?
Our camps are led by friendly, experienced instructors who are passionate about helping children develop their confidence, creativity and technology skills. We have a Camp Manager running every camp – all our CMs are fully qualified primary school teachers and first-aid trained.
Are your staff DBS checked?
Yes. All staff working directly with children hold an appropriate enhanced DBS certificate and will have completed safeguarding training.
How do you keep children safe online?
Children use carefully selected software, activities and content. Online access is supervised, and children are taught about responsible and age-appropriate use of technology.
What will my child create?
This depends on the camp they attend! Children might create a game, animation, AI project, video, coded Minecraft world or DJ mix. They will have opportunities to share and celebrate their work.
Will my child be able to take their project home?
Where possible, children will be able to save, share or continue their project after the camp. This varies depending on the software and activity used.
Can you support children with additional needs?
We aim to make our camps welcoming and inclusive. Please tell us about any additional needs, medical requirements or reasonable adjustments when booking so we can discuss how best to support your child.
What happens if my child has an allergy or medical condition?
Please provide full details during booking. Parents or carers must supply any required medication, clearly labelled, and discuss important care instructions with the camp team. Please discuss with our Camp Manager at drop off on the first morning if you have any concerns.
Are food and drinks provided?
Unless stated otherwise, children should bring their own packed lunch, snacks and water bottle. Drinking water will be available throughout the day.
What happens if my child is nervous?
Our instructors create a friendly and supportive environment. Children work through activities step by step, often in pairs or small groups, and no child will be forced to present or perform alone. We often find that nervous children are having a great time by morning break, and will always let you know if there are any issues.
Can friends or siblings be placed together?
We will always try to accommodate requests, although this cannot be guaranteed. Please add the request when booking or contact us before the camp. Please speak to the Camp Manager on the first morning with any requests, we’re always happy to accommodate.
Can parents stay during the camp?
Our camps are normally drop-off sessions. Parents and carers may be invited back for a short showcase at the end of selected camps.
Will photographs or videos be taken?
We may take photographs or videos for approved promotional purposes, but only where the appropriate parent or carer consent has been provided.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation and transfer terms will be shown during booking. Please contact us as soon as possible if your child can no longer attend.
How do I book?
Choose your preferred camp, select the relevant dates and complete the online booking form. You will receive confirmation and further camp information by email.
What time is drop off and pick-up time?
Drop off is 9-9:30am and pick up is 4-4:30pm. Some venues request different times that we are always happy to consider, please check your specific camp for timings.
How many kids are in each class?
We have some of the best student-teacher ratios to ensure every child has a positive experience. Most of our classes are capped at 25 students with a 1:8 teacher-student ratio.
Do you cater for special needs?
Whilst we do not run programs specifically designed to cater for students with special needs, our aim is to be as inclusive as possible. If your child attends a mainstream school and is comfortable in a classroom environment, they are welcome to attend. We will ask about their needs at enrolment. We are unable to provide 1:1 support, however if your child has a support worker they may attend with them. Please contact us to discuss your child’s individual needs.
Do you offer a sibling discount?
Yes absolutely. We offer a 10% discount for siblings, please contact us for details.
What time is lunch and can I sign my child out for lunch?
Yes absolutely. Lunch is 12:30pm-1:30pm. You child can stay with our friendly staff for the lunchtime period or you can sign your child out for the hour. Please discuss with our Camp Manager on site.
